Our speaker this month will be Mr Stephen Pope and his illustrated talk

 "The Village Craftsman"  - the craftsmen found in our Norfolk villages.

There will be a small charge of £3.00 for visitors.

Our talk this month is going to be about the Plantation Garden in Norwich - its history and what is happening now. The speaker is Lesley Cunneen - an accomplished and interesting speaker.

There will be the usual small charge of £3 per head and, as ever, please let us know if you would like to come along so that we can ensure there are enough cakes!

Mileham ‘Macmillan’ Coffee Morning

Friday 21st September

10:30am to 12 noon

Mileham Village Hall

£2 per person

Everyone from Mileham and the surrounding villages is very welcome, so come along and join us. Meet up with your friends and maybe make some new ones.

This month all profits go to Macmillan Cancer Support, so please come along and give generously.

Car Treasure Trail

Sunday 23rd September

2:30pm onwards

Do you like solving clues? Searching out answers? Driving round our wonderful country lanes?

If so, why not come along to our Car Treasure Trail, covering Mileham and surrounding villages. Own transport is essential.

Question sheets will be available from Mileham Village Hall between 2:30pm and 3:00pm

£2.50 per person to enter

The winners will be the people who get the highest number of points,

not the people who complete the course the quickest!

Mileham Art Class

Thursday 27th September

9:00am to 12 noon

This is a taster session for a new art class which will be run by a local artist, Malcolm Cockell, whose work was featured at the recent Mileham Showcase.

The class will be held on the last Thursday in each month, excluding December.

The September taster session will be free, and thereafter £5 per three hour session, to cover hire of the hall, light refreshments and eventually some art materials.

Classes are suitable for complete beginners and those who want to progress - and aim to cover watercolour, washes with ink detailing, landscapes, old buildings and animal studies. Other mediums can be explored if required.

Currently there are 17 people interested, so if you would like to attend please contact Malcolm to see if there are any spare spaces.
